Neverwinter vs. Old School BlackIsle/Bioware

What do you guys think of NwN? After playing both NwN and the old school top down bg,iwd games I really have to say the old school games are better. They have a better storyline but what makes them so great is that they are filled with amazing detail. The textures in NwN are very repetitive and dark.

What do you guys/gals think.

NWN. Built from the ground up to be modifiable. There isn't a whole lot you can't change if you were so inclined to. I love the ambience and music of the original game as well.

nwn is too goldish for my liking with a horrible soundtrack, much like the Quake2 effect. BG2 for me.
