DooMer87 Posted December 21, 2005 Is there a possibility that you can have an ouch face with the blood, for example, when you have 30% health? If so, how? Because I always thought the ouch face can only occur when you have gained a lot of health right after being shot/scratched/fireballed etc. a lot. Is that how? or something else? 0 Share this post Link to post
Linguica Posted December 21, 2005 The ouch face is MEANT to happen whenever you get hurt a lot all at once, several ports fix this "bug". In any event I believe the bugged behavior happens when you get hurt + gain over 25 health at once, so theoretically you could get a bloody ouch face if you started out with like 1 health. 0 Share this post Link to post

Doom version = 19 Patch format = 6 Misc 0 Initial Health = 30(Copy and paste this into Notepad, and save with the filename 30health.deh) Then play Memento Mori and warp to map13. Oddly enough, I found that when I set the starting health to less than 25, there was no ouch face. Ling: Wasn't it you who originally pointed out that with the buggy behaviour you needed to be hurt and simultaneously gain more than 20% health? Here is a wad that provides an opportunity early on to get a bloodied ouch face via the buggy behaviour. 0 Share this post Link to post
Enjay Posted December 22, 2005 Something I never knew existed in PSX Doom - a gib face. If you pop over to this thread and DL the tool, you'll find the status bar graphics in the zip http://www.doomworld.com/vb/showthread.php?s=&threadid=35154 0 Share this post Link to post

Grazza Posted December 23, 2005 Having tested it a bit more, I'm beginning to wonder if the most bloodied ouch face (STFOUCH4) can ever appear in-game, and that STFOUCH3 is the most bloodied "ouch" you ever get to see. <-- STFOUCH3 <-- STFOUCH4 It seems that in all the situations where you'd expect to get STFOUCH4, you just get the normal STFKILL4 face (whereas in the identical situation but with a bit more starting health you'd get STFOUCH3). Can anyone confirm/explain this? 0 Share this post Link to post
