825th_Outlaw Posted December 31, 2005 Has anyone got this working at all?? I have a server setup on my network, which just happens to run a legacy doom server, all works fine on the LAN. I am trying to set things up so that a friend can access the legacy server after connecting to my network through a VPN, so i dont have to open up my server to the outside world .... The VPN works fine, but when ever we try to connect to legacy, using the fixed IP of the server, it just sits there at the contacting server screen, then eventually crashes with a sock_get: error message.
