And all I can say is STOP THE REPRODUCTION YOU RABBITS!

And not only the architecture is claustrophobic, imagine the number of neighbours there. All sharing the elavators, stairs. You'd never know if someone belongs to your building or not.

Edit: heh, Macau's airport looks cool.

Yes, that's probably it. Nothing to do with the geography or political history of these places.

Man, those buildings are enough to give you virtigo. If I opened up a window and saw those across the way, I'd have a fainting spell.

To be fair, Hong Kong is really just a city (and it's now actually part of China). It would be better to compare it to, say, New York or Trondheim.

IIRC, the Netherlands actually has the most dense population of any country in the world and Dhaka is the densest city.

Heh, how about Greenland?

Population density (July 2005 est.): 0.1 / sq km if you count ice-free land, 0.03 / sq km if you count ice-covered land as well.

Lots of space there. :-)

I'm fed up of hearing this; "too many humans! Shotgun rampage!"

NO!

What you want is a machinegun. You could kill a hundred more people with this in the amount of time it takes to kill two with a shotty. Also what is the shotty's effective range? One meter? Two? What if populouses decide to run away and keep you at three meters :P ... or worse hide from you in buildings. The powerful machinegun can knock buildings over, or slice through walls like pins through biscuits, therefore you don't have to manouvre into the building. You could just stand their nailing it all day, you're bound to hit something! And finally, blowing chunks out of people makes an awful mess + plus you still have a big fat cadaver to clean up. The machinegun can cut people people into small managable chunks (some bits even disappear) so that when your massacre comes to an end you'll have less community service to do when the annoyed relatives call the cops ;)

I hope I have saved you some time.

That's it, the sequal to Deus Vult must take place in Hong Kong!

Well, for one, due to the proportion of the buildings, and that the "texturing" is relatively uniform, they give the feel of something that could fit into DOOM. And their shape and general lack of balconies makes them doable, too.

First of all, that was completely taken out of context. Second, that wasn't me.

Nope.

Population density of the Netherlands (July 2005 est.): 395 / sq km

Monaco actually has the most dense population of any country at the moment:

Population density of Monaco (July 2005 est.): 16,620 / sq km

Yeah, so essentially Monoco is the most densely populated country at the moment.

To stay on topic, those are some trippy and stunning pics.
