when i make a map and save it as a wad file how can i open it in doom2 and play it?

From the command prompt, browse to your Doom2 directory and run "doom2.exe -file .wad" (obviously replacing <> with the DOS filename of your map).

Doom runs only on compatible systems. Windows XP cannot run old DOS games such as Doom2. If this is the case, use a source port.

Doom 2 ran just fine on my computer without any source ports (except for the whole "No sound" thing...)
