shotgunmasacre2 Posted March 21, 2006 Well, in doombuilder, when I try to map a polyob door that actually works (zdoom in hexen format), I try to test the map and when it says that it is building the nodes, the program just stays on building nodes. i have to exit out of the map andopen doombuilder and loose all of my progress. 0 Share this post Link to post
Epyo Posted March 22, 2006 Have you tried taking another wad with a polyob door, moving a vertex somewhere else on the map, saving, and seeing what happens? Do it, it'll be fun. 0 Share this post Link to post
CodeImp Posted March 22, 2006 Doom Builder doesnt do anything particular with polyobjects. As far as DB is concerned, its just normal map structure. Nodebuilders on the other hand DO do special things with polyobjects. Either the nodebuilder doesnt support polyobjects, is malfunctioning, or your polyobject is incorrectly structured. Try switching nodebuilders. 0 Share this post Link to post
Graf Zahl Posted March 22, 2006 What node builder are you using? And have you checked whether your map is bug free? I have experienced several times that ZDBSP likes to create broken nodes with a certain kind of map bug and on occasion it even hangs while building the nodes. 0 Share this post Link to post
shotgunmasacre2 Posted March 22, 2006 I am using ZDBSP and all I am doing is making sure that I can make ne that works correctly by making a small map and then testing it. 0 Share this post Link to post
