I think deathz0r had been porting them to EDGE, though. Which one was the first pwad ever created (and release) ? Possibly this one (or the first user-made map, at least.) 0 Share this post Link to post
CODOR Posted March 23, 2006 Lorenzo said:1)Is there a way to play the alpha versions of DooM with a source port? WinMBF can emulate the press-release beta and includes the three levels from the beta in betalevl.wad. You have to give the -beta command switch like this: winmbf -beta -iwad doom.wad -file betalevl.wadThere were also two wads with the 0.4 and 0.5 alpha resources ripped and converted into a format playable with vanilla Doom called (I think) 0_4resor.wad and 0_5resor.wad. 2)Which one was the first pwad ever created (and release) ? origwad.wad was created a little over 12 years ago by hand (presumably with a hex editor). 0 Share this post Link to post

Lorenzo Posted March 24, 2006 thank you! I'll try to play them via WinMBF. Well, there is a win version of MBF? I'll have to update my Source Port Genealogy! Lorenzo 0 Share this post Link to post
