defining a high res sprite for gzdoom?

When i define a sprite in the hirestex lump, it has no effect. Of course if i take off the s_start and and s_end markers it works, but then its no longer a sprite.
Help appreciated, thx.

Sorry, I don't know the hirestex lump. I assume it's something (g)ZDooM specific? Are you sure the problem is in XWE (ie its lump handling) and not your content?
