Checkmate Posted June 27, 2006 I'm making a level using PRboom+ as the test bed(for compatability reasons). I have a shootable switch that's on a higher level than the player. Problem is that I can't shoot it because the weapons fire straight ahead unless there's a monster on another level. Looked for an autoaim toggle but can't find one. Not a huge deal as I can move the switch lower but kinda frustrating. Any ideas? 0 Share this post Link to post
Hobbs Posted June 27, 2006 No thats pretty much the way the game works. The switch linedef has to be at the same height as the player (or at a height where he can shoot straight ahead and hit it) for it to work. 0 Share this post Link to post
Opulent Posted June 28, 2006 You could do something tricky with invisible textures, etc... have the switch lower but it looks much higher. just a thought 0 Share this post Link to post
ellmo Posted June 28, 2006 If I recall correctly, the Shootable type activated linedef, activates itself when a projectile or hitscan hits the linedef, or _crosses_ it. 0 Share this post Link to post
