Arch Vile bust

I started drawing an Arch Vile, but got bored after a couple of minutes...
thought I share what I've done so far though, maybe I'll also finish this piece sometime!

Yeah, you're right!
I just had a look at the Archy sprites
and though it has a relatively long head it's still a bit too long, but anyway :)

The length of his head and the bend in his neck make his head look kind of like a boomerang.

Not that it's a complaint, though. Your skills are excellent, and I would love to see a finished piece. :)

I'm propably going to make a "Doom monster family pic" of some sort, with all enemys found in Doom/Doom2 and use it as desktop background!
This won't happen too soon though...

you can use the archvile marble plaque texture for reference.

It looks more like the Doom 64 Imp. Pretty cool, nonetheless.

It reminds me of Martian Manhunter's (DC Super Hero if you're unfamiliar) 'true' form. His Martian visage has that same elongated look.

It's drawn very well, but it doesn't say Arch-Vile to me. I agree with the majority of the comments everyone else had made thus far.
