N00b question: How do I edit the credits?

I would like to edit the credits at the end of Doom 3 but I don't know how to do it. Can someone help me? If it involves programming I have some (really) basic C/C++ knowledge?

I don't know how exactly id did it, but you could make an ingame GUI similar to the game's credits (infact I think the normal credits are GUI) and have the viewpoint switch to a camera thats positioned correctly.
