SYS Posted August 7, 2006 http://www.pacifict.com/Story/ I used this program in Math class ages ago. Didn't know there was an interesting story behind it. I don't know what would possess somebody to go through the trouble. Aside from being able to oust other geeks on scale of geekdom. 0 Share this post Link to post

Sharessa Posted August 7, 2006 This seems to happen a lot in the computer world. For instance, When EA took over Bullfrog, they fired Peter Molyneux (I think), but he continued to work on Dungeon Keeper without pay until it was done. That's why Dungeon Keeper was Bullfrogs last good game instead of it's first bad one. :P 0 Share this post Link to post
alexz721 Posted August 7, 2006 Bullfrog was brilliant. A part of me died when I found out EA had absorbed it. 0 Share this post Link to post
Megalyth Posted August 12, 2006 ...Awesome. If I had half the drive and focus of the people in question, I'd probably be parking a Diablo in a 5 car garage right about now. 0 Share this post Link to post
