Projectile Modification

How do I modify the projectile type and amount of projectiles for any give weapon in Doom?

I can't figure it out in WhackEd2.

Any ideas?

Ok, I figured out what I wanted to do, but I've run into another problem.

I modified the rocket launcher into a sniper rifle, sound and damage all work great. One problem that I am having is even though I aim up the projectile still shoots straight, I have to completely aim into the air to shoot to a moderate height on ledges. Is this a result of a sprite size problem?
