not many people in IDE

Recommended Posts

Hey guys Ive been playing doom2 and final doom on the
SKULLTAG the last few weeks or so and i cant seem to find many players these days. Where did they all go!?!?

Could this possible be the end of this great doom passtime?
IF you have SKULLTAG, it would be realy nice if u could play again.
any ideas on how we can get more people to play doom?

Doom is still played a lot, but on zDaemon ...

many players tend to prefer zDaemon over Skulltag because it has way more players and also because cheating is quite better enforced...

Skulltag is known as a haven for cheaters and players banned from zDaemon...

WTF Are you talking about? Skulltag is heaven for cheaters?
ZDaemon is where all the cheaters play, not Skulltag.

Anyway, ZDaemon has more players, while Skulltag has much less.

If you use IDE then you can use both Skulltag and ZDaemon.

Altho his thread title says "not many people on IDE" :)

Yep, I noticed too late :-)
But I'm not sure if he means IDE or IDESE.

rebdoomin, you can get ZDaemon here.
I'm sure you will find it more epic.

I've been playing on Skulltag for quite a while and I've not seen any Cheaters. The bottomline is, if you NEED to cheat in DOOM, you fail at life. You Might as well jump off a building now because you wont succeed in anything. =P

Heh, where did they all go you say? Hmm, well its 2006, and most original doomers are getting to that age where a family and a job take over and playing games falls to the way side...
(But it is still an awsome hobby :P)
