Lüt Posted November 14, 2001 I'm trying to put a lift in the center of a pool of blood 32 pixels deep. The top of the lift is 24 pixels above the pool of blood. Is it possible to have it descend under the pool of blood, or will I have to put a platform around it? I've tried a few things and I can't get it so that the lift will go "under" the blood. It moves to the bottom of the pit, but you can see it's floor through the blood, as if I had left off the lower wall textures of a regular hole in the ground. I tried tagging the lift with the deep-liquid tag like the rest of the pit, and the lift disappeared. (It was still functional, just not visible.) Any way around this using MBF? 0 Share this post Link to post
Lüt Posted November 15, 2001 Read the last sentence, bucko ;) MBF is Boom-based, so let's just say Boom. 0 Share this post Link to post
Lazer Posted November 16, 2001 Don't forget that the lift also needs the deep water properties. Just the bottom of the pool will be located above the surface of the water. (sounds strange but works) 0 Share this post Link to post
Lüt Posted November 16, 2001 So you're saying set the dummy sector's floor above its ceiling? [edit]oh yay, 2000th post[/edit] 0 Share this post Link to post
Big_al Posted November 16, 2001 Read the last sentence, bucko ;) MBF is Boom-based, so let's just say Boom. Thought MBF was one of those internet short-hand things like LOL, RTFM, most of which I cannot be arsed working out. 8D 0 Share this post Link to post
