Wolfendoom - Discontinued?! Where's Laz Rojas!?

Recommended Posts

Hey guys I'd like to know if the great wolfendoom wad maker Laz Rojas will get back or if he gave up with his projects... well, I'd like to ask him for his sounds, some basic enemies' sprites and some wall textures... but it seems that he just stopped making stuff for doom... well, in case someone get a contact with him, please let me know... I'll try to send him an email... if he answer for me or for someone, we could make a new wad for wolfendoom... but well, I think it's difficult cause I can't get some of his stuff of without his permission... just hope he gets back...

Perhaps he's in the same situation as me...family members complaining that you've spent way too much time on the computer for the past younger years and that now it's time to cut it short and be forced to do other things, such as either earning cash or studying.

This way, you only have enough energy & time left at the end of each day to download and play and review mods but not to actually make some mods yourself.

Yeah, last time I checked he was busy giving a kid a hard on.

IMHO, it's no big loss. Most of his maps seemed rather half way complete, with poorly cropped weapons, half finished dehacked work, and copied and pasted rooms everywhere. His sole masterpiece was that "Artic Operation special edition" which wasn't too great either.

Yeah, he's not a total loss. I think wolfendoom is pretty cool, but I'm a huge world war two buff. The game itself stops being fun after 2 or 3 levels. Not just arctic wolf, but pretty much everything he did. I think there's some really good resources there, but the .wads just stop being enjoyable pretty fast. Honestly, I've tried to play through arctic wolf several times, but after a couple of levels it just gets boring and repetitive. The enemies, weapons, and settings are cool, but it just gets boring. But yes, last I heard he was pursuing an acting career... wouldn't really call what he does "being a transvestite though". Seems like he dresses as women for the purpose of acting, not really for sexual gratification or to achieve the feeling of belonging to the opposite sex. But yes... he does dress as women and record it. I wouldn't say he's a huge loss... it seems like alot of what he did could be recreated fairly easily, it never seemed like the wolfendooms were very advanced. Different yeah, but it all seemed relatively simple work compared to alot of what's been done with doom.

That sounds like something a company's financial analyst would say.

There is no "loss" if people who've released wads don't release any more, since nothing is being taken away and they don't owe us anything. If the wads they did make were to become unavailable, then we could start talking about a loss.

I remember that thread. Meh, Transexual people are cool. If you piss them off they will cut your break line. Hardcore. The only people they fear are pimps.
Hmm...then again, I suppose the battle ready ones are the prostitute variety, not the "executive".

Ohh my God what was to be a request for using wolfendoom sprites became a conversation about laz being a transvestite... well, I don't care much for this... he's just an actor, this doesn't happen in his real life... or happens :| !? hehhe I don't think so...

Mmh, am I still in a Doom community board ?

This is a cross thread with prudeworld, where posters get alarmed when some dude somewhere in the world who uploaded some game addons seems to be in some way effeminate.

Frankly, I don't really care. I only posted those links because Scuba seemed curious and to joke around. :/

He even offers to send you a VHS copy of what appears to be terrible quality, "one-man-band" 70's porn.

That says PROMO, not porno! He sure makes one ugly woman...

What I find peculiar is that all his characters look exactly the same, only the wigs and make-up change, atleast for the male characters. All of his female characters have the exact same, exaggerated make-up. If you watch some of the videos he has up on youtube, they all sound the same too. So much for a promising acting career...

Oooohhh my god thank you Searcher... I thought Laz edited the walls... cause I had never seen the mac wall textures... so, they are the same ones id used in doom 2... but there are some walls missing, as well as some boss and enemy sprites... mmmm you explained me a lot of things... well, so, what I need is just to get this pictures... ahh... I can edit other by myself... Searcher, THANK YOU VERY MUCH :D!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

*watches the clip from the demo*

You know, he's actually a pretty good actor. With the right script and direction he wouldn't be half bad.

I wouldn't say he's a transvestite, more an actor of the shakespearian period. There's a difference, people.

That only showcase how well he recreated the Wolfenstein 3D experience :-P
I'd like to know the opinion of a Wolfenstein fan about these wads.

My only gripe is that many of his personal episodes are way too much fantasious, as if there weren't enough good scenarios for Wolfenstein chapters.
