[zdoom] How to offset floor textures again?

I know, i know i had asked this once, but i have forgoten.
I even searched the wiki up and down and cant find it, so, how do i offset floor and ceiling textures again without resorting to doing it with an edited texture and thus bloating up the pk3?

Use sector_setceilingpanning or sector_setfloorpanning!

Setfloorpanning causes the floor to scroll. I think line_alignfloor/ceiling is more of what is asked for.

Um no, setfloorpanning doesn't have anything to do with scrolling!
I've used it a hudred times already, so I'm pretty sure it is for aligning floor/ceiling textures... line_alignfloor/ceiling will propably also work, but I haven't used it yet.

Oops, I must have misunderstood the use of the word 'pan'. I haven't used this before so it was just a guess.

Yeah, it's a bit misleading. I also got that mixed up a few times ;)
