how do you make a ramp?

guys how do you people make a ramp? i see them in zdaemon all the time but i only know how to make stairs.

By ramps, you probably mean slopes. From what i know, you can only use them when making Zdoom maps in Hexen format.

You can also do them in Doom format maps with linedef types 340-347.

When did the non-hexen format slopes appear? I *think* it was after the version that Zdaemon is based on.

Try Freedoom's MAP07. If it got slopes in ZDaemon the feature was done before that. If not, well, shout at the ZDaemon staff. It is inexcusable that they haven't updated their code for 4.5 years.

Hexen doesn't have slopes. It's a ZDoom feature. And yes, slopes work in ZDaemon under both Doom and Hexen formats.
