A couple of comments about that page:

1) If he was such an uber-fan of the game, how come he didn't know the final boss was called the Baphomet?

2) Shouldn't he have been using the rocket launcher instead of the SSG? ;)

As far as I know, there's no references to the name "Baphomet" anywhere in Doom 2.

That's right; it's used only in Final DOOM (which is as official as any PWAD, if you ask me, as far as the "DOOM story" is concerned).
