Viewing things in 3d mode

How can I view things that I've inserted in 3d mode?

Uhm tools - configuration - shortcut keys, short answer just press T.

I'm having a problem with textures as well;

I'll be in 3D mode and hit T like you said to, and nothing changes.
I'm in a room full of monsters, hitting T, and none of them show up.
I wait a minute. I exit from 3d mode, reenter, things mode's still on.
Nothing.

I have an Intel Extreme Graphics 2 card; is that it?

I tried switching from windowed to fullscreen; no help.

Please help me?

Are you, by any chance, making a Hexen map? Because this is a common bug then.
