Since Plutonia uses Doom1 music, that leaves Evilution. Unless the previous poster doesn't know about Plutonia music's origin.

I can never make up my mind about "top DOOM music", but I like both the DOOM and DOOM II soundtracks (there may be some songs that tend to stand our somewhat, and others a less so, but not by that much of a margin, really).

TNT's new music isn't too interesting; some stuff is okay and some a bit annoying, with Tom Mustaine's stuff sounding more fitting (even when he feels it sucks).

I can't believe no one has ever mentioned the Doom 1 epilogue music. That's by far my favourite. Here's the full list:

3. Heretic's E2M4 music (ice blocks on which lava rivers flow)
4. Heretic's E1M3 music (old-school dungeon crawling, that's what it's like)

Really I like almost all of the original Doom soundtrack, especially the more ambient ones. I guess it depends on the level it's with as well. I don't really care for any of the Doom 2 or Final Doom tracks. (Then again, I don't really care for Doom 2 or Final Doom, either.)
