Let there be light!

Recommended Posts

This trick is quite easy to do, and it gives some more realistic lights to your level.

1. Start by creating 1 dusky sector.
2. Now create another a bit brighter then the other.
3. Move them together so one vertex is combined.
4. Create a sector that combines them both.
5. Now slice up the connecting sector into pie slices.
6. Select all sectors and fade the light between the first and the second sector.

Shit, my account is dry!

Oh well, let me look in my trusty Care Box!

Empty!

What do you mean by that "fade"? And which is the "second" sector?

If you are using DoomBuilder you can select a range of sectors and fade between the largest and the smallest lit sector.
