Stair Building

I've come across something that has got me nonplussed.

It concerns this wad - highlow2.wad ...


You will notice that linedef 1757 has no tag, but should.

I realise this method of doing things is supported in (g)zdoom but not other ports. So I gave it tag #60.

The stairs will now rise in both (g)zdoom and VaVoom as the author intended but in most ports sector 219 will only rise to the same floor height as sector 311, and sectors 220, 699, 700 and 232 rise 16 map units less than what they should be, making sector 232 32 map units lower than intended.

Just wondering - besides compatiblility issues - the reason for this ???
