What Commodore has been doing lately

Apparently, the 80's computer giant Commodore is coming out with a brand-new line of gaming rigs. Here's the link:

Also, to my surprise, they've also launched an iTunes-like music sharing site complete with an offering of PMPs. Personally, I'd like to see Amiga make a resurgence.

Uh, play on words. A deformation of "You ain't just whistlin' Dixie". My grandfather used to say it. Nevermind.

Anyway, I wonder if these PC's will be a console-like PC version of the Mac Mini.

And will you still be able to sneak into the (small and family run, with a hideously unfunny pun for it's name) computer shop and type PING and CRASH on them to make loud noises?

I'm going to go with the /. opinion that this will most likely be a souped up x86(-64) PC with the C= logo on it. And that will be where the commodore resemblance stops.

As much as I love my Amiga, I have really low hopes for this new gaming rig. I seriously doubt that Commodore will ever rise back up to its former glory.
