Patrick Posted March 24, 2007 When I use the QDOOM BAT file to run QDOOM with EDGE, it just doesn't work. I mean, it wont even start EDGE. when i try edge32 -file QDOOM.wad, it won't work either. Any Help? 0 Share this post Link to post
Grazza Posted March 24, 2007 Several new versions of EDGE have been released since QDoom came out. Does it work for you with whatever was the latest version of EDGE when QDoom was released? (Check the file dates.) 0 Share this post Link to post
TheDarkArchon Posted March 24, 2007 The easy answer is that edge32.exe no longer exists in offical EDGE releases: it's gledge32.exe as the software renderer has been removed in the recent releases. 0 Share this post Link to post
andrewj Posted March 25, 2007 Using EDGE 1.29RC#3, simply drag-n-drop the QDOOM.WAD file onto the GLEDGE32.EXE executable. I'm not 100% sure that this works, can't test it right now -- let us know if it doesn't work. 0 Share this post Link to post
Patrick Posted March 25, 2007 yeah, i tried GLedge. then on a whim i tried running Half-Life. it didn't work because it said it couldn't configure my openGl driver. so i restarted my computer. now everything's fine. I guess we can close this thread now. qdoom works fine. EDIT: drag-n-drop works, too. 0 Share this post Link to post
