Coopersville Posted April 26, 2007 It would look like a HL2 or FEAR map...? Flaming aside, the ways that person explained how he went about lighting areas was quite interesting. 0 Share this post Link to post
scar3crow Posted June 20, 2007 Fun fact, "that person" was a level designer for QuakeIV, so he does have a pretty good grasp of the Doom3 engine to say the least. However, I'm glad Doom3 didn't look like that, since that is the wrong setting for a mars base. It looks cool, but... no. Iirc he did that level as a portfolio piece, and for that it is good. But I'm glad Doom3 didn't look like that. 0 Share this post Link to post
myk Posted June 20, 2007 That building looks like something made in the early 20th century. The central railway terminals look like that over here. 0 Share this post Link to post

Desert_Fox Posted August 3, 2007 I suppose someone could take that image and make a mod for Doom 3 where it's the year 2000 and hell attacks earth. 0 Share this post Link to post
Riddlebox19 Posted September 26, 2007 I like Doom 3 the way it is. If I were to find a way to incorporate that level into doom 3 I would make it pitch black with pnly 1 light and blood and body parts everywhere. I would potentially make it a room where you fight a boss. 0 Share this post Link to post
JoelRPG Posted December 28, 2007 I like Doom³ the way it is as well. But as far as a mod, that looks awesome! I'd love to see and play a mod like that. From that one pic, it looks very Half-Life 2-ish. Otoh, a Myst-like game in Doom³ would be cool too, if done well. I mean it's not like it's a rule that all custom mods have to be like the original game. 0 Share this post Link to post
