Steeveeo Posted July 14, 2007 What I am wondering, is that since I am working on a new gunflash thing, and it requires that something be shot out to make it, how do I get the effects to either have "momentum" in the direction the player's moving; or have the effect "stick" to the person or the gun? Any help would be appreciated, even cheesy engine hacks might work, i dont care, because it sucks to have a cool gunflash that you cant see while moving (which almost everyone does while fighting) because the flash gets left behind... 0 Share this post Link to post

Steeveeo Posted July 15, 2007 It uses a forward moving projectile which spawns flame sprites to create a gunflash effect. Not sure what you mean by "update the position" however... I'll get some screens up. 0 Share this post Link to post
