slopes in 3dmode? also back-ups

another idea... every time i save a map doom builder creates a backup file. after a long time of working on a map and i look into the folder i save it in i have the same wad backed up a bunch of times and it uses hundreds of megabytes of space. is it possible to put in an option where it overwrites the old backup instead of making new backup files? or an option to not have any backups at all?
