doublesky in mapinfo

I'm trying to get the double sky feature in zDoom to work.

Is this how it should work:

sky1 SKY1F 0.0
sky2 SKY1B 4.0

Also, it mentions that color 0 is the transparent color, and that it is not cyan. What color is it then? Black?

just under half way down there is a section called "Multiple sky effects in Zdoom". DL the first file (qsky.zip) and it may serve as a useful example for you.

It's worth pointing out that there is no cyan in the Doom palette. That's just an editing tool convention for marking areas that will be converted to transparent when the graphic is imported into a WAD.

It used to be the case that Zdoom required the areas of the sky that won't be drawn to be palette index 0 (which is black) but I think that restriction may now be lifted and perhaps you can now make the areas transparent by more normal means - although I'm not 100% sure about that.

[edit]I just checked and you can just make the area transparent using normal means. At least it worked for me. ;)[/edit]
