Help with DoomBuilder

I want to get started at making DOOM mods. I have ZDOOM, the WAD files for DOOM1 shareware and DOOM2 (which I found on the old DOOM2 CD I found when I visited my dad's house,) and DOOMBuilder.

Any idea where to start? Are there any tutorials to look at?

I don't have Vista, only Windows XP. The instructions at top look like this version of Builder is for Vista.

It is not specifically for Windows Vista. Those are only instructions on how to get it running in Vista.

Start with the Doombuilder guide.

I thought I posted a thread for "how do I get started with Builder," but it's not in my posts (or "subscribed threads") list and I can't find it anywhere. Maybe I didn't, but if I did I don't want to post it again and get into trouble with the mods.

This is the best place to start of with Mapping.

Or you can do what I did, Learn without tutorials by looking at other maps and messing around myself. Nothing better than a hands-on approach!
