Shoot Em' Up

Recommended Posts

Saw this movie last night. at first I didn't think it was going to be anything great, but I was pretty wrong. It's got a lot of action and a lot of the stuff in it is just funny. The main guy is practically always eating carrots, random but its good. The kills are very neat too.

But yeah, anyone see this yet?

I like that one move in the commercial where he shot the filing cabinet from behind, and the drawer flew open and smacked the guy in the head and knocked him out. that was sick.

Mindless gun violence, naked women, little to no real story

Sounds like a Uwe Boll movie.

No really.

This is an almost perfect action movie. Great constant action, good comedy, and a simple plot that any idiot could follow.

I really really really liked this movie.

Plus he kills guys with carrots. WITH CARROTS.

I know what I'm doing tonight.

Eating carrots? Killing people? Both?
...Or are you just going to see Shoot 'Em Up?

I thought it was hilarious. I love action and it had it, and it had funny lines. I really enjoyed it. :D

I bought some carrots on the way back from the movie. It was a really good advertisement for them, I'll say. :D

Yeah, I'm sure the Carrot Company® is indebted to them.

i'm almost positive that the carrot thing is a reference to Bugs Bunny, who also used to get into crazy situations.
the movie is basically a live-action looney toon and that's not a bad thing.

Almost positive? He even says "What's up Doc?" At one point. I didn't even mention this because it's so blindingly obvious.
