jval Posted September 19, 2007 Where can I find some techical specifications for dehacked patches? I'm also interesting in the differences beetwen DEH and BEX. I know that BEX can also define par times, but are the any other differences? Can you define par times for episode 4 in Ultimate Doom? 0 Share this post Link to post
andrewj Posted September 19, 2007 This might be useful: http://www.doomworld.com/eternity/engine/dehref.html This little document is a summary of different formats: https://edge.svn.sourceforge.net/svnroot/edge/trunk/edge/deh_edge/FORMAT.txt Not sure what else there is, the source code (for DeHackEd and Boom) is always there, as well as my conversion tool DEH_EDGE (see downloads from http://edge.sourceforge.net). 0 Share this post Link to post
myk Posted September 19, 2007 If you mess with DeHackEd you'll be able to see what DEH patches can do pretty clearly. The source for DeHackEd is also available. BEX is explained in Boom's BOOMDEH.TXT, and you could also look into Boom's source code. Also here's a DeHackEd reference (haven't checked it myself). 0 Share this post Link to post
