Change sky texture

Sky textures are bound to a map aren't they? I'm making a map for Doom2, replacing the first level. Can I get a sky texture from another Doom2 "episode" in there, instead of the default one? Thanks!

The most efficient way of doing this would be to extract the TEXTURE1 lump from doom2.wad and insert it into your wad. Then take XWE and edit it, finding the SKY1 texture and changing the patch used from RSKY1 to RSKY2 or RSKY3.

Alternatively, you could just extract one of the sky textures of your choice and import it into your wad as RSKY1.

Or, if you're building this for an engine that supports MAPINFO lumps, you can just specify it there.
