Freedoom First Level

Hello,

I just installed Freedoom on my Sandisk Sansa using Rockbox Utility. I started the game and killed all the people in the initial room. I started here:

then, went through the hallway, i ended up in a hexogonal room with a hallway on the left leading to a gray room with blue computer things on the walls. Killed everyone here as well. Now what? I can't seem to do much else? How do i proceed to next level? Thanks.

What keybinds (button-binds?) are you using? I've got a Sansa e260 and didn't find RockDoom very playable (neat to watch demos with, though)...
