Import SKY1, add it to PNAMES and TEXTURE1, remove the old SKY1 entry from TEXTURE1. You could also just take my wad, remove everything except those three entries and merge it with yours :)

I figured it out with ZDoom Wiki, but thanks! I do need to steal that sky, though. Doom 2's SKY3 doesn't look as good.

I found another sky that I liked better, actually. The buildings in yours didn't fit my map that well.

PhilibusMo, The test version is currently 0.4, and its still pretty raw. When I finish the 0.5 I will tell you.

Is there any forum at Doomworld to upload work in progress wads?

If you want to post a testing thread, do so in the Wads & Mods subforum here, use Megaupload or Sendspace or Mediafire for your file hosting, though those will get deleted after a period of inactivity unless you pay for an account. If you want something a bit more permanent, open a Google Sites homepage.

I kinda forgot to back up my wad in progress when i switched from Vista to Windows 7 all recently so i remade my episode 3 themed map from Ultimate Doom. Here's 2 early shots.





Eventually i should start mapping for Doom 2. Do you guys think that 2nd shot is a bit too dark?

archvile78: those dark supports (cant remember which is which of 2 and 3) looks better than the light ones. Very much more "safe", but yeah, have to admit it looks better. Looks cool :)

Well thanks for the comments, i'm still planning the layout in my head and hopefully will be able to deliver a quality map both design AND gameplay wise.

Had some difficulty the last time I tried doing these sloped portal windows for my second Vaporware map, but I was feeling brave today and tried it again. It's a Christmas miracle :D

(Before anyone else mentions the computer screens on the floor, that shot is a couple days old. I've since changed them to green metal2-based lights by popular request. :p )

Whoa, those shots look awesome.

Does the rock ceiling have an actual terrain-like surface or does the texture only make it seem this way?

This is for speedrunners: doom2, map20, NIGHTMARE fail... (darn!)
Can´t upload a demo because (I think) it involves a new trick and I want to be a first to implement it. My aim is 39 (old is 43)

The two plasma guns are coupled in the rifle. Anyway, i will redo these sprites, putting a cable (or something) connecting the rifle with the plasma guns.
