Hardware rendering in ZDoom?

Is there a way to get hardware rendering in ZDoom? Reason I ask is because I'm trying to play using ZDoom on an Intel iMac w/ Boot Camped XP (words), and whenever I let it render itself in Software mode in Skulltag it runs like ass. Switching it to Hardware rendering (OpenGL or whatever) worked perfectly in Skulltag, so how would I do this in ZDoom? Or, is this not the place to ask?

edit: Also, I'm trying to run it in ZDoom cause wads like do-tims and Only Gets Worse try to "register" a "class" more than "once". If anyone has any idea why this happens, I'd like to know.
