Hell Superior CTF

These are a few shots of the first map of my 10 map CTF wad Hell Superior CTF. I'm going to release this map by itself once it is finished to get feedback from people and then finish the 9 remaining maps before I release the completed wad.

Judging purely from a visual viewpoint, I think it looks great. Good strong theme, nice open layout. The sky texture looks good, contrasts well with the green marble textures everywhere. The red carpet with the yellow trim is cool, matches nicely with the red and yellow pennants. At a guess, these screenies are of the red base eh? Going out on a limb here, the blue base will have... blue carpet?

I like the lighting too.

So far so good. Keep it up.

I really like how well the textures all suite one another. Some interesting, yet subtle architecture too. Looking great thus far.

Can't you get in deep trouble for creating another account to avoid being losered or banned?

This map looks pretty impressive, I can't wait to play it!

Wow, nice screenshots. Everyone has already said it, but the rug looks awesome.

I have a few questions about CTF mapping I'd like to ask people.

1) Do weapons stay where they are if they are weapons placed in the editor and not weapons dropped by a dead player?
2) How long does it take for items to respawn?
3) How long does it take for players to respawn?

1) This is port dependant, usually weapons placed on the map remain there, unless an option such as: weaponstay is turned off
2) Also port dependant, its usually a fixed value across all of them however, I don't know the actual time though sorry.
3) Again, port dependant, players can respawn with the click of the use key, but some ports implement a system where they can respawn after a timeout
