Is this a mod at all???

I was wondering if there was a mod that let you play doom... or levels or whatever... but made it into an RPG like that mod for Doom 3 or like Doom RPG but for Doom 1 and 2???
and if not what would it take to make one??? (one that lets you level up all aspects from health to armor to weapons to ammo... throughout ALL doom playing... so from one wad to next you can save stats and levels...)

There's one for Hexen. But it's more like Diablo 2 in it's execution.
