Well, when you celebrate a birthday you do it on the exact day.
His duty his to do this on 10th in order to celebrate birthday.

So till midnight 12 o'clock, in my opinion it's ON TIME :D

I'm not part of the jury but I couldn't resist and sent him this morning 9am my own review of #1.

DW team simply forgot to include an "index" entry so directory was accessible whole day, in the evening I suppose the trick had been discovered and a fake "index" page included.

If it's hacking this was yellow belt hacking (Chuck Norris approved) :D

It's very difficult without accessing the server itself, if the admin knows what he's doing, when directory listing is denied. If he's not, and the webpage has been up for a while and has been linked to (it hasn't been to yet, I don't think), you can attempt to use a search engine (such as site:doomworld.com cacowards -vb in google) to obtain a list of webpages on a given site. This wouldn't work here because the webpage is very new and hasn't been linked to. And now that I have posted it, they might add bots.txt.
