Weird WAD related error.

Recommended Posts

I have been hit with an epidemic of errors that seem to happen at random.
It seems if I monkey around with a wad in SlumpED, it's like the WAD file goes bad or something, and Doom Builder 2 will not be able to run it. I get this error:

************** JIT Debugging **************
To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this
application or computer (machine.config) must have the
jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
The application must also be compiled with debugging
enabled.

For example:

<configuration>
<system.windows.forms jitDebugging="true" />
</configuration>

When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer
rather than be handled by this dialog box.

When I go to remove the WAD file from the file resource list, it works just fine, but when I go to re-add it, I get this same error again.

This has happened with multiple WAD files at different occasions. I have no idea how this error is created, or if I did something to the WAD file to make DB2 go ape shit. The WAD files in question, run fine in ZDoom by itself, so as far as I can tell, the WAD file works fine. Now I am thinking that if I made some changes to the DECORATE file, perhaps something triggered this but I don't know. This usually happens after I make a change. But the mystery is, I am constantly making tweaks on the DECORATE file so this error is seemingly coming out of nowhere.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
