The Maes postings sound way too much like our domestic performances for me to make any sympathy of them. Worse with those girls, their singings trace back to 2000 when monotonous dance tunes populated every speaker. And I'm damn sick of that eastern style.

The Danarchy postings at least have that germanic / electro vibe in them, increasing their cool factor and taking them a bit closer to our age.

That's weird, considering electro "cool" and "closer to our time". At least here in Communist Europe, this corny pitched up electro/vocoder voice effect was already a staple since 1999 (thank Eiffel 65 and their "Blue" song, among others, for that).

The girls don't adopt any particular style, they have songs ranging from 60s rock'n'roll to 80s disco, oriental music and other stuff as well.
