Problems with downloading Action Doom 2

when trying to download it off its original site, the problem i have is this- im on dialup internet, it kicks me off after about 4 or maybe 5 hours, and no download manager type program i try on it can resume the downloading. so is there any way i can get this wad?

Have you tried the archive mirrors? I know some don't support download resumption.
Alternately - grab a flash drive and head for your local Internet Cafe or buy a copy.

Anyway on topic.

Internet cafés could help you out, but I'm sure sometimes they make you pay for each session using the computer (some Internet cafés charge you £2.50 for 10 minutes in my area). Take a flash drive along with you as well.

The only difference between the idgames download and those from the website is the custom exe that runs Action Doom 2 without Doom. The exe doesn't change anything so you're not missing any features, you'll just have to run the game as a pwad.

I bought a copy, had it signed by the big man himself, and I wouldn't even consider selling it for $100. Well, maybe, but I'd buy ten more copies and have Scuba sign each one.

ahhh damn. now Zdoom is conking out with some error when i try to run it. ill try downloading the latest version of zdoom then....
