Hello,

I was attempting to edit the main menu graphics and possibly layout for Hexen and i wasn't sure how to extract the graphics from the .exe file.

Anyone have info on an editor or some such?

Sounds like XWE can do the trick for you. Load the wad up into the program, select wanted texture, and click save as desired format.

Graphics are just graphics and can be replaced by any lump manager, Slumped would do the trick just as well as XWE.

Layout is hardcoded in the engine. If you want to change it, you need to change it in the code, recompile, and use that modified exe. Note: this is not a serious suggestion.
