Some more honest question concerning Skulltag and Dehacked Patches

I am honestly puzzled and I was wondering if any of you guys have a anwser to my question. How do you use Dehacked patches with Skulltag?

You put them in the wad as a lump named DEHACKED. Or load them with -deh.

@Gez:The method you mention did'nt work for me. DO you know another method or how to convert a DEH. file into a LMP. or WAD file?

No. There are only two methods:
1. As an external file: load it with -deh blahblahblah.deh
2. As an internal lump: must be named DEHACKED to be recognized


But to quote the ZDoom wiki: "This must be a text patch; binary patches are not supported. (As far as I know, most patches are text patches, so this should not be too much of a problem.) Also, only patch format 6 is known to be supported. Other formats may or may not work properly."

If this didn't work for you, it's because it's not a format 6 text patch but something else. So you need to somehow convert it to format 6 text.
