KennyJC Posted June 11, 2009 I want to have a tunnel with deep water travel UNDERNEATH some kind of a door. But with the door having transfer heights it keeps messing with each door I try to create. Wonder if I'm missing something or if it's just not possible. 0 Share this post Link to post

Whoo Posted June 11, 2009 Sounds like floor over floor. You have two options. One is portals, either Zdoom's(Which suck fucking ass), or Eternity's(Which are very good). For actual floor over floor you would need an OpenGL port such as Gzdoom. 0 Share this post Link to post
SFJake Posted June 12, 2009 Duke Nukem water is very easy to do in ZDoom when you get the trick, basically the under water part is another section of the map entirely, and when the player cross the water he is silently teleported to the other side. I forgot the technical term, but as far as I'm concerned this looked far less complicated than going into floor over floor stuff in GZDoom (but I didn't even try).
