SonicIce Posted June 12, 2009 You're sick of them. But here they are! ;) Press "I" in 3d mode to show height of a wall (like Doom Builder 1). Currently I don't see any way of checking the height of a wall besides going into 2d mode and subtracting with a calculator the floor height from the ceiling height on the sidedef you need. One click on a wall in 3d mode should enter texture browser (like Doom Builder 1). Should be able to change sector brightness in incriments of 8 in 3d mode (or incriment of my choice as an option). Pressing Insert key in linedefs mode should not instantly place the first vertex. Let me click to place it (like Doom Builder 1). The new way is dumb because you might not be exactly sure where the vertex is going to snap to. You have to get your left hand prepared on the insert key, and then look at the screen and get the cursour in exactly the right place where you want the vertex to go. It's like an annoying coordination stunt. Should reset texture offsets of a wall with R key in 3d mode. (like Doom Builder 1). Currently you have to go around and find a wall with (0,0) offset and copy and paste it or, alternatively, return to 2d mode and find the line and go into the properties blah blah.. Texture Browser had full size images in Doom Builder 1. At least put an option. What happened to the up and down arrows for floor/celing height, brightness, and tag number? (like Doom Builder 1). (Minor peeve) In edit sector window, ceiling texture should be on the left and floor should be on the right (like Doom Builder 1). Close button on map analysis is like really tiny lol. And just, in general, texture work takes alot more time and is more tedious and takes alot more clicking in Doom Builder 2. I understand some of these issues may have been solved. Just politely let me know ;). 0 Share this post Link to post

If you look at the floor/ceiling of the sector that the wall is a part of it shows the height of the sector in the info at the bottom left. 0 Share this post Link to post
