Anyone know how to reset a Windows Vista Laptop to factory settings

aint got manual or disc or anythin we cant reset it and it driveing me mental. Im gonna throw up soon.

BTW im useing my Windows XP Desktop to type this message.

we tryin this system restore thing.. tryin to use the restore point before we installed this rubbish..

I mean.. this Telecom broadband **** installed fine on my XP but its just causeing total havoc on the Vista.. christ.. all that needs ot be done is a simple re-install of the Telecom programe but it REFUSES to uninstall thus cant do anything.. and yes ive tried deleteing it from the harddrive i did that but still no go..

i googled the model and nothin happens..

What's the model number? Compaq appear to have three base models and hundreds of variants, which doesn't make life easy. :(

we sorted it out.. system restore did the trick :) thank god.
