Graphic Error (?)

Hello everyone, so I was working with SLumpEd again, I'm starting to get the hang of it, and I tried replacing the bottom status bar graphic with the same thing except it's in negative color. I imported the image and converted it to a Doom graphic, then I ran the game to see what it's like. It turned out to be a bright multi-colored mess that looked nothing like the image. does anyone know what I did wrong? Thanx for your time.

What port are you using, and is the image itself in the Doom color palette?

What do you mean you "converted it to a Doom graphic"?

What I mean by that is I imported the image as a .bmp bitmap, right-clicked the file (this is in SLumpEd) and clicked [convert to > DooM gfx]

I've already done this for the title screen, and it worked, so I don't know what happened to this one.

Either SlumpEd's thrown a hissy-fit or your image was created using the wrong palette.
