error when making new map

Recommended Posts

okay, i dont know if this is just me being stupid making alot of mistakes, or just doombuilder having problems,

but i manage to do the config, but as soon as i try to make new map, i always get an error that says;

Unhandled exception has occurred in your application. If you click Continue, The application will ignore this error and attempt to continue. If you click Quit, the application will close immediately

D3DERR_INVALIDCALL: Invalid call (-20055305160.

Can anyone help me, or explain why, and how to sort this thing out,
Thanks
Adam.

That's related to your videocard. Check if you have the latest DirectX, and if your card works fine with other Direct3D games.

That program requires NvDia GeForce or better comes with Pixel Shader. If you using other display card likes NvDia Riva, that program will refuse or always have error at last!

I use a intel built in graphics card and it works fine for me.

and it would help if you posted what type of video card you have.
but most likely its what morpheus said or you need to update your the driver for your card.

OK! I know everthing! My video card is NVDIA GeForce and always updated by using special program likes Driver Genius (this program will detected any old drivers version before find it automatically for me!).
