Steeveeo Posted June 27, 2009 http://lab.andre-michelle.com/tonematrix Great little flash app, you click on the matrix, it creates a note. The thing then plays the notes in a loop. Caught my attention for a good amount of time, give it a go! 0 Share this post Link to post
Technician Posted June 27, 2009 Heh, cute. I wish we could save so we could post our creations in this thread. EDIT: Wow you can make a really great jingle with this. It's great. 0 Share this post Link to post
Steeveeo Posted June 27, 2009 I'm thinking perhaps screenshots used for replication would be good. 0 Share this post Link to post

exp(x) Posted June 27, 2009 My wife informed me that the boxes play the same notes as the black keys on a piano/keyboard. 0 Share this post Link to post
Sharessa Posted June 27, 2009 This thread is full of madness. First something about musical boxes, then girlfriends and wives? This is not Doomworld! Anyway, this thing is pretty neat. 0 Share this post Link to post

DooMAD Posted June 27, 2009 Wow, I can make stuff that sounds almost as repetitive as my attempts at midi composing, heh. 8208,8194,66576,9280,9220,32768,8208,9218,66576,9280,8196,32768,9232,9218,74768,8256 Can't get the M to look right, needs one more column on the right side: 510,254,102,62,99134,130918,130878,99134,99174,130878,130942,99102,120,248,30,510 0 Share this post Link to post

Enjay Posted June 27, 2009 Is anyone actually able to paste the sequences posted in this thread? I can copy and paste my own stuff but when I try to copy from this thread, nothing happens when I paste into the app. :( 0 Share this post Link to post
Creaphis Posted June 27, 2009 It works as long as you only copy and paste one sequence at a time. Some posts here have multiple sequences which gave me problems too. They're separated by line breaks. This is surprisingly beautiful: 28,38,34,82,140,272,544,58432,71808,65792,66048,37376,24832,8448,4352,3584 0 Share this post Link to post

deathbringer Posted June 27, 2009 In an vaguely-related subject does anybody know the name of this MIDI-creating software that i beleive i saw on here once? It's basically like written music but you put coloured squares at different positions to play different notes. 0 Share this post Link to post
Creaphis Posted June 27, 2009 Fruity Loops? That sounds like it could be any number of music writing programs but FL is a big name. 0 Share this post Link to post
deathbringer Posted June 27, 2009 Nah i've vaguely heard of FL and beleive that can do all sorts of fancy mp3 and MOD stuff too. Pretty sure the program in question only did MIDI's and was quite small and unknown. I might not have even seen it on here, but it seemed a likely place as Doom uses MIDI's for music ** (note: not really, MUS!) 0 Share this post Link to post
